| Atlanta, GA :: Feb 22, 2005 - PerformanceDP announced today successful completion of the USPS CASS software certification process for their new address-matching software, pd/CASS. Currently, PerformanceDP is one of only three service bureaus in the US that holds its own current CASS software certification. Others must rely upon 3rd-party software packages to do this job. This new CASS software will be used to certify and enhance clients mailings.
Developing their own unique CASS software is in line with PerformanceDP's goal of providing clients with customized data solutions. "We don't just use state of the art tools, we create them," said Carter S. D. Taylor, President of PerformanceDP. "Prepackaged software just doesn't give us the flexibility we need to meet our client's needs. We want to build a one-step filter to fix data deficiencies, not have to run two or three programs to get the job done. That wastes our client's time and money."
Currently, pd/CASS will be used internally to improve mailing quality for PerformanceDP customers. In the future, it may be offered to other companies as packaged software.
